The Glorious church - Part 5
|
Moses---in Exodus 33, wanted to see God’s glory. It wasn’t a scientific or visual enlighten he was predominantly seeking. The demonstrations of miracles (before) wasn’t the substance or evidence he needed to confirm his lead-

ship. Moses needed to know that Yahweh was with him and his people. God, without a doubt, supplies the externals of blessings and deliverance. Moses, however, would only rest in the assurance of the abiding of God’s presence.
Moses said first ---- we will not go into what you have for us unless your glory goes firsts. He wanted confirmation. He wanted to know Gods presence in an intimate covenant way. God said “You can’t see my glory and live.”
The natural man frequently test the Almighty---like plugging in the toaster with wet hands. Men (human-kind) use God’s name in vain or even curse Him.
Truth is that God regulates the fullness of his power, because the fullness of it would consume natural man. It’s only through resistors (places designed to reveal God) has the world has been allowed to see any of what has been seen.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. ---1 Corinthians 2:9-10 |
Scripture (Psalms 113:4-6) says God steps himself down to behold the things in Creation. Like electricity being stepped down from its fully generated potential via a transformer to power safely a particle accelerator as well as a light bulb---All while never compromising his divinity, power or love.
The strength of His love would overload the sun, stars, and nebulas. Although, He manifested it fully in Jesus--in human flesh, all God, all man. Jesus carried God’s weight in fullness. In demonstration, He released it through the circuits of compassion and faith. It was the full glory of the Father God in bodily form.
Compassion released it to heal lepers and blind men. Released again, in resurrection strength, at funerals and tombs. Faith released it at the hem of his garment---a sick women touch and a foreigners plea for bread. At his cross both switches (compassion & faith) were turned on in an amazing grace.
Psalms 113:4-6, In His visitation---A slain lamb, a lowly shepherd, a risen Lord, the King of kings---He knocks at the door. Those who recognize Him by faith will open, invite him in to their hearts, and yield their will to His. There, His Glory is revealed. He lifts up the poor, needy, barren---of children and dreams. He is magnified in them and they are raised up in his power and Love.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord. 2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.
4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. 5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, 6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

Science and Faith in God have often been pitted together. As if in the two were at different poles of creation or of universes. In fact, I strongly believe Science was put in place to declare God’s glory.
Psalms 119 says--The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Every old or new discovery of the telescope or microscope sings the glory of Elohim. Every old or new use of a scientific law expresses the mastery of the Creator. Even the possibility of some microscopic form of life on another planet just points that He the author of life is there.
All the discoveries of science, so far, have been through glass---dimly. God told Moses, who at that time was still in a sinned impaired body, “You can’t see my glory and live.”
But the Almighty, in longing for fellowship with man, yielded himself. He put Moses in an isolated place---a crevice in a rock. He put his hand over that cleft. The bible translation interprets his hand as His Word. God pass by in His glory ----speaking and declaring his Word---declaring His mercy, His grace, His faithfulness (seen in judgment of sin), and His love that conquers over all.
So great was that presence revealed to Moses---that saturating Moses' body—caused him to live 120 years in full regeneration of life. This presence of God upon Moses---the servant of God--- heighten and confirmed the Word of God in his hand. The glory of God changed and established a nation.

Exodus 34:5-7
5 And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.
6 And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
