A Revelation of The Blood
Revelation 5:9-10
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
The blood of Jesus is timeless and eternal. It is also foundational. Revelations 8:13 says Christ was crucified before the foundations of Creation. His blood permeates the archives of time. It is woven into the fabric of eternity. Even before Adam sinned, God had already the remedy. The cross wasn't "Plan B". The love it took for Jesus to die for rebellious humankind was already in existence. John 3:16 says----

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
And God doesn't just give out love. He is love. Love is His nature, You could say God bleeds love. Romans 5:5b... says the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.
Human blood has a voice. Adam's son, Abel's blood, cried from the ground. It's not clear what it spoke. We know it was a witness and an identifier. It shouted from the earth on which it was spilled. The blood of Jesus speaks better things. Top of the list, it speaks out forgiveness of sins and iniquity to all who receive. It speaks our concurrent cleansing from all unrighteousness. It speaks our fellowship and covenant with God.

Jesus's blood is poured out on the altar of God by the High priest, Mediator, and Intercessor---He Himself. In this courtroom of heaven, the blood cries out to Satan, the accuser (Revelation 12:10)----these children (born-again believers) are mine. It decrees, their sin slate is cleansed. It's notice to all "the curse" and to every curse to "cease and desist". The devil and all evil are to be reminded of what the the blood of Christ has done. We do this through our shield of faith, praise, and of course, the Word of our testimony.
In Revelations 12:11, it's the last part of the scripture that is usually not quoted.
…and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelations 12:11
Death does apply to the integrity of faith under persecution. Like Daniel confronted with the lion's den or like the Hebrew young men before the fiery furnace, many ask what they would do if their faith was challenged to that degree.

You may have heard the tag--- "Does our faith have enough evidence to convict us or anyone else?" Before we go there, the Word death here is "thanatos". It implies physical death. There's another word that implies death---"martys". It's where we get the English word martyr. In Acts 1:8, in the KJV, it's translated "witness".
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
We often think about martyrdom as that ultimate sacrifice for faith, belief, or a cause. Using the translation witness, it is one sold out to God and one who the power of God has rendered sold out to Him.

Often being a witness for Christ has been approached as a casual event. Something to be done when conditions are just right. A casual approach to anything of God may only reap casual results. So many scriptures express dying to ourselves in our walk with Christ. The emphasis in this article is the willingness to maximize the power of God in our walk and ministry by living the crucified life. Galatians 2:20 says…
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Doubtless, salvations and faith's power rest in what Jesus did. Expressively, His power is stepped up when as believers, we die to our thoughts, ideologies, and conservation. Often, we see more extraordinary manifestations when we die to self and rest in His life. 2 Corinthians 4:10 says…
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
Unquestionably, the blood of Jesus stands invincible and undeniable alone. Its maximization may be in our absolute surrender to its power. So being an overcomer by it from all the accusations and wiles of the devil is the laying down of our own self and reasonings and only speaking God's Word. As an overcoming witness, we must relentlessly stand, but we must remember that the victory is revealed and secured in the shedding of His blood.
