Deaf Missions in Colombia: Alexandra Bishop Update
by missionary Alexandra Bishop
I was blessed to see my family who lives in FL during this trip. It was great to be with my cousins, uncles and aunts again! It was a bittersweet time because my great aunt passed away of cancer during my time in FL, but it was a blessing to see her one last time. Her legacy of faith lives on through her family. I have not been able to see her in a few years and I know God opened up this opportunity for me to say goodbye. Even during the hard times God is still with us and his faithfulness goes on forever.
The churches I visited were a highpoint of my summer journey! God is a creative God. Unique in the way they come together to worship God no two churches are the same! It has been a privilege to get a glimpse of what God is doing here in NJ, PA, VA, NY, IA, MO and FL. Every church has its own distinct culture, but they have a unified heart for God and for reaching our world. Thank you for opening your doors to missions and becoming a part of reaching the Deaf in Colombia. You guys are awesome! |
