Continued Miracles
Interview With Author---Debra Stout“It gives people a fresh ray of hope and encouragement, answered author Debra (Debbie) Stout to why she wrote her book, Continued Miracles. Many people feel like they're on their last nerve or I have gone past their last nerve. Many people feel like they're about to throw in the towel. Many people feel like they want to move forward, that they need God to move on their behalf. And so, Continued Miracles was birthed.
Debunking the thought that God is just the God of the Bible, Debbie proves that God is active doing Bible things today. “I see miracles all the time, says the author, They come in routinely. I hear the testimonies. I share the testimonies that the Lord is blessing all over the world.” Her reference to all over the world is not exaggerated. “Amazingly, shares Debbie, the Lord brought these miracle stories to me. I did not go seeking them out. He got them to me. There are miracles of all different types and varieties. He handpicked the ones that he wanted.”
According to Debbie, the type of people who receive miracles are diverse, but they’re still ordinary people. "I believe that the Lord does not separate anyone. Anyone can have a miracle. |
Many people say I don't think I'm on his list, but that is not true. They think that miracles are remote. They’re out in the ozone, but that is not true either.
Debbie reaffirmed that anyone can receive a miracle. She says, "There are many miracles in the Bible. The recipients may or may not have been a big believer their whole life. All they had to do was to have a mustard seed of faith. Whatever they needed, it could be a healing or a financial miracle. The Lord did many, many different types of miracles. People must not think that they are not excluded."
There was one condition that needed to be met, Debbie explained. It was faith. It was prevalent in most cases. She says faith and belief are the keys, if you can believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Debbie says the Lord is doing the miracles. So just because someone may or may not believe, the Lord can still do amazing things. They should stay tuned for coming attractions.
"Just like in the Bible, says Debbie, Jesus healed the 10 lepers. Only one came bay back and gave him thanks, but 10 were healed. They all could have moved forward on the same today. A mustard seed of faith seems very, very small. Yet if you can have a mustard seed of faith, the Lord can take that and run with the ball.
The miracles reports are still coming in. I just heard one last Sunday. It happened for a high school student---a girl got blessed with a huge, huge miracle.“

Debbie book is close to 300 pages packed with stories of God’s intervention. It seems to project that miracles are more common than one would think.
“Many times, she continues, people think that miracles aren't going on today because they don't hear of them being shared. Many people don't share their miracles. They're having them, but they're keeping them below the radar for whatever reason. Nonetheless, miracles are happening. I encourage people to share their miracles. Many people don't feel comfortable sharing their miracle, but they do share them with me. I hear them and I get permission to share with others. Miracles are for real.

It's not just submitted stories that fill her faith, she has her own miraculous encounters. “I had a house fire a while ago. My dog and I escaped. it was two weeks before Christmas. Afterward, I could not keep food in my stomach. I went down to 88 pounds. I went to a cardiologist whom I never went to before. He tested me. He said I needed open heart surgery immediately. I don't receive it. I told him, I’ll be back when I have a miracle. I had my miracle and I'm telling this story today.”

“if God could do miracles for all these people (and all the pets that are in that book) then he can do miracles for them too.”
“There was another fire just a few years ago. This time on Christmas morning---7AM. I was the last one out of the house. And again, the Lord spared my life. he said I spared your life like Shadrach, Mishach, and Abednego in the Bible. And so again, I'm able to tell my miracle. It was not too long ago, At the dentist, I told him he was not going to pull my last wisdom tooth. He said it has to come out by next week. I said, no, the Lord will deal with it. Within that time, the tooth just fell out.”

Debbie said readers of Continued Miracles can expect hope and encouragement. She assures, “if God could do miracles for all these people (and all the pets that are in that book) then he can do miracles for them too.”
Beyond the acts of God, she reports on and has experienced, Debbie shares who Jesus is to her personally. “He is the number one that I believe in, I go to, and I share with others. He’s the one I'm out on the streets for all the time in street ministry. I share with others that they too can have a ray of hope and encouragement. Also, if the Lord can bring them to salvation, they can have a whole new life.
The miracle reporter concluded, “Many people rule out miracles. I'm here to say change it around. The Lord can change your life, but you must want to do something to. Change is positive and miracles are given.
